Barrie Roberts reports: On what turned out to be a pleasant summer`s evening in Coventry two BvHers, Richard Bayliss and Barrie Roberts, participated in the first (of a series) Autumnal 5 Mile Road Race in Coventry’s War Memorial Park.
The gently undulating tarmaced surface, one short clockwise loop and two longer clockwise loops, was totally within the Park and well organised/marshalled by Coventry Godiva Harriers. In what turned out to be a very competitive race Richard ran particularly well to record a PB. There were 217 finishers.
7th in 27.36 was Richard Bayliss (PB) SM.
166th in 41.03 was Barrie Roberts (SB) MV65.
