Bournville Harriers’ Club AGM will take place at the Rowheath Pavilion on Monday 26th March 2012. There are a number of key committee roles which are available.
The Club Committee exists to serve the club and to ensure the best possible service is given to members. In order for BvH to properly function, we are inviting members, who would like to be more involved with the Club, to confirm their interest in one of the roles and ensure we continue to be a great running club for all.
One of the posts which will be available is the role of Club Chairperson. The current BvH constitution states the Chairperson can only stand for a maximum of two years and therefore our current Chairman, Steve James will be standing down.
The committee roles available, include:
Chairperson
Club Secretary
Coaching Co-ordinator
Ladies Cross Country Captain
Kit Secretary
Ordinary Member
If you are interested in one of these positions please contact the Club Secretary, Kelley Sprawson
If you would like to know more about the committee and the roles, please feel free to talk to any of the current committee. The current committee team can be viewed here
There will be a number of other business matters to attend at the AGM, including the approval of a revised constitution.
Further details of the AGM, including the minutes of last year’s AGM and the roles & responsibilities of the committee members will be provided to all members and it is important we have as many members attend the AGM to ensure a true and democratic process.
Just a reminder that I need nominations for committee posts 🙂
There are a number of roles that we need to fill for this year – most notably Chair Person! The committee exists to ensure that we remain a great club, and we are a supportive team, working together. If you are wary about a lack of experience, please do not let this put you off. You will be very welcome – we just need enthusiasm and a bit of your time!
Please do feel free to get in touch with me, or any other committee member, if you would like to chat any of the roles through.
