  1. That’s what I told my mother, when she caught me reading Razzle.

  2. Sorry to be such a prude , but I think “the bottom of Clare Hill” sounds a bit “Carry on camping/On the buses”… I know you youngsters like a bit of retro-smut… but spare a thought some of our older more unworldly members.

  3. Thank you all, These things are going like hot cakes* off an icy shovel, or as my assistant, E,Z-B, might say, Like unwheeled-still with chassis roller skates… on a freshly tarmaced road… in mid summer………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….(and still there at midnight)

So yes Emma, you can swap for a small, that leaves me with three Mediums and one large… if any one else wants a t-shirt, let my know what size you want, by early afternoon, and I can hopefully order extra for thursday if needed.

I’ll be getting to the KM early, as my assistance might required… or catch me afterwards or look for E,Z-B, she’s probably down some local section rapidly cooling fresh road, singing “I’m not a nightclub drug”…. while trying to get to grips with velcro, and no doupt permanently traumatized by footwear… excuse the fingerprints.

*Feel free to substitute this word for something less offensive.

  4. Hi

I had 2 medium t shirts off you tonight. Just wondered if you had a small left that i could swap one of them for. If not its not a problem…love them

  5. Hi MIke. We did open this race out to another local club last year, but because the roads we use are so narrow we cannot open it out to all clubs I’m afraid, which is a shame. However, we will be orgaising the BvH Leafy 10k in October this year, so we’ll be sure to keep you posted on that one. Best wishes, Paul

  6. Mike, I suspect for legal, logistical, and safety reasons, it has to be a club only event… Though happily Killer Mile T-shirts are available to anybody with £13 to give me… these are not for profit, £13 each is exactly what I give to the t-shirt printers… due to a weekend avalanche of sales, I’m ordering more smalls for tonight (as the actress, etc, etc, etc)…Catch me at the club tonight, before six, before the run, and after the run… cash would be nice.

  7. Mike – in all the years I was an active member of the club, this was a bvh members only event. It’s not a closed road etc.
Hopefully someone will confirm / deny in time for you!

  8. Hi there,

This is Mike Elwell of Cobra RC is the Killer Mile open to anyone only there are a few from my club would like to run it if that’s OK?

    Thanks

    MIKE

  9. Can I have a small one please? ( always a sucker for a race T shirt!) 😉

  10. I’ve ordered two small, six medium, two large, at £13 each, plus Queen of hill, and King of hill for the winners… I can get more for next thursday, if required.

  11. Yes. ok, I’ve enlisted the the help of the shoeless and clueless Emily Z-B… But I’m going to have to take a chance and get twelve printed, three small, six medium, and three small… in cotton, will bring them to the club on monday… Hopefully.

  12. I only know cheaper ones if they do larger print runs. I don’t really know any that do small runs for a low price. Personally, I wouldn’t pay £16 for a t-shirt. Paul

  13. So far Killer mile T-shirts are proving quite expensive, around £16 for cotton when ordering 10, and around £19 for technical.

Does anybody know of a cheaper supplier? and who wants one?

10 is about all I can afford to run to.
