BVH Tour – Final instructions for races and marshals.
Please can all marshals arrive at the venues for approx 7:15pm each night in order to find out where they are stationed. Please see Mark Lynock upon arrival on Monday.
Race Info:
All races will start at approximately 7:45 with Wednesday’s canal run having staggered starts from 7:30-7:45 due to the narrow towpath. If everyone is there and ready we will start before 7:45 save hanging around!
You will be required to sign in each night so that for safety we know who is running.
Monday: 10K multi terrain, Rowheath Pavilion, Heath Road.
Please arrive from 7pm for this race as you will be required to pick up your race number (which stays with you for the whole week), your food tickets for the Friday evening and also the t-shirt (if they arrive in time, if not you will receive these later in the week.) Please bring pins with you, although we are able to supply some if needed.
The route is the BVH leafy route and a map will be available on the evening.
Full tour entrants please register with Sue or Sharon, Monday night only entrants please register with Rachel. Prize giving for tonight’s race will be held on Friday at the presentation. If you need to purchase tickets please see Rachel.
Tuesday: 7 mile hills. The Peacock Pub, Forhill, Weatheroak, B38 0EH
Race will start at 7:45 (earlier if everyone is there and ready), you will be required to register with Rachel/Sue on the evening. The pub have been notified and we hope many of you will stay for a well earnt drink after! Remember to bring your number. Tonight is FULL TOUR entrants only.
Wednesday: 5 mile canal run. Kings Norton playing fields.
This is opposite Kings Norton Park off the Pershore Road South. Parking is available and access to the canal is from here.
This race will be run in three smaller sections for safety with start times at 7:30, 7:35 and 7:40. Again you will be required to register with Rachel/Sue on the evening. Remember to bring your number. Tonight is FULL TOUR entrants only.
Thursday: 4 mile XC Cofton Park, B45 8TE
The car park is accessible off Lowhill Lane, we will meet inside the park at the car park. The race will start at 7:45 (earlier if everyone is there and ready), you will be required to register with Rachel/Sue on the evening. Remember to bring your number.

So sorry Suz to hear that you were unable to run the 10k MT;especially as you have been running well recently. You are understandably disappointed,but getting yourself well has to be top priority ie.taking `best advice` and acting on it.

Iv signed up for full tour,but cant run tonight as iv been in pain all morning ive got stong pain killers and going to rest.Docs are not sure what it is,so if it goes by tomz or wed can i just carry on with tour?Dissapointed i cant do full week now,if i cant run im happy to marshall if the pain killers work!
