Lesley Pymm reports:This was the third running of the 10k run by Malvern Joggers and, as in previous years there was a good turn out of runners from lots of clubs in the area.
This is the second time I have run it, and there was a bit more road than I remembered (but I do have selective memory about these things!) It is a testing run with some hills, it is in the Malverns after all. I am not sure that pushing a wheelchair in a ‘Walk for All Abilities in the Wyre Forest in the morning was the best preparation as I could certainly feel some twinges in my lower back by the end of the run.
Anyway, I was five minutes faster than last year, so was quite pleased with that. There was a BBQ afterwards and a bar, so a good end to a lovely summer evening event.
Sounds like an excellent summer evening event. A good turn-out of Club runners. Congratulations Lesley on your improved time. `A twinge in time saves nine!`
