Just noticed some lovely pictures on the front page of http://www.westmidlandsrunningscene.co.uk/ – 2 photos, 6 people, 5 of them wearing teal. Well done to all who raced!
I have read and personally heard some of the reports of this particular Race.It was clearly a tough and challenging course. To have the first 3 women home and to have 3 out of the first 4 men first across the line was a remarkable achievement. There were a large number of other Midland club runners participating and Bournville Harriers has certainly made its mark on the Regional running scene.Congratulations to all BvHers who participated so valiantly. Another `good day at the office.`

I almost bottled it, I just needed a breather, apart from the alley ways near the end, you werent out of sight.
Does anyone know what trophies/prizes we won as individuals and as teams?
I have apologised to the race organisers for shooting off so quickly and not being there for the Presentations but I was badly sick after the race and spent the journey home vomitting. Thank God for SatNat or I wouldn’t have made it home.
Still, a failed fitness test on Sunday morning meant I was ready for the Wythall 5k … but that’s another story …
P.S. Gareth – did you stop up the hill for an ice cream or were you just tired?
What a great race this was! A fantastic turn-out for team BvH. The number one spot for both male and female teams; 1st, 2nd and 3rd for the women; 1st, 2nd and 4th for the men; plus a whole host of other harriers on their heels 🙂 Great atmosphere and a fantastic (but tough) course. It was a joy to run and I will definitely do it again next year! Well done to all
In line with Government guidelines now Birmingham has been placed in Tier 4, coaching bubbles will once again need to be suspended, until further notice. But we will keep you updated.
