Rachel Ward writes: Sutton Park is holding the National Masters Road Relay Championships on 21st May for any lady over the age of 35. The route is similar to the normal road relays and is approx 3 miles in length, starting at 11am.
The men will be there on the same day racing too. Depending on the age category we will either need teams of 3 of 4.
I spoke to a couple of ladies last night who were apprehensive because everyone will be ‘fast’. That may not be the case, 2009 results show that leg times ranged anywhere from 17 – 30 minutes, so just like our usual road relays.
