Congratulations to Ed Hartley on successfully completing the Hinckley Half Marathon. He was placed 55th out of a field well in excess of a 1000 runners. Ed’s Chip Time of 1:27:22 resulted in him being first home in the MV50 Age Cat.
The performance is even more remarkable when one notes that the previous day he had been running (and running competively) in the British Masters Road Relays at Sutton Park. Ed’s age grading for the half marathon was 83%, which makes him well placed in UK Rankings.
And if his current form is anything to go by he will run even faster in the months ahead.

I used to have a hare named Hartley. Happy childhood memories.
Hartley Hare! Great running Ed. Pay back for all your hard work in training.
Ed, if the performance alone was not enough to stir the green eye’d monster that is jealousy…I’ve just had a look at the pictures of you in action… imperial, majestic…. i’m struggling to suggest anything that could possibly improve on perfection but, try turning the cap 90 degrees next time.. it’ll give you the urban gangstar look I know you’re after.
Ed – an 83% age grading! That is excellent, congratulations.
