Well done to everyone who took part in the Yacht Handicap this year on 18th December. The winners were Lesley Pymm and Phil Williamson who were only 10 seconds out from their predicted time.

  1. Maybe if the `appearance money` is increased there will be more participants! CONGRATULATIONS to Lesley and Phil on winning the 2011 BvH Yacht Handicap. As with all running events,you can only compete against those who are there. (Alas,Katie and I only turned up in time to see the last few participants leave the Pavilion).

  2. Thanks to everyone who was involved in the Yacht Handicap, runners and marshals etc. Special thanks to Lesley Proctor for the cake! This was the first time I have run the Yacht Handicap and I had no idea what to expect. I really enjoyed it. There was a lovely atmosphere – just a shame there were not more runners out there.
