Warwickshire XC Champs – Jan 7th 2012

I need to know 3 pieces of information to complete the entry

1. If you want to do the Senior Mens’ race, or the Masters race
2. Your date of birth
3. Your qualification (see below)
   – by birth in the County
   – by 9 months continuous residence prior to competition in the County
   – by 9 months service in a unit of HM forces stationed in the County

The Warwickshire County is defined as the Warwickshire pre-1974 boundary which includes Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull and present Warwickshire areas.

For those of us over 35 will need to think about whether you want to race as a Senior or Master. It will be the same race, but for different competitions. For info, we are likely to win the Masters team event, and possibly runners up as well, but are unlikely to get a team medal in the Senior race even if we all ran as Seniors.

I need to complete the entries and submit them by Weds, Dec 7th, so deadline for you to confirm with me is Monday Dec 5th. I’m sure you appreciate that this is a difficult task to get all the information together in time, so please could you help me out and reply by this date if you wish to race. If I haven’t had confirmation from you by then I won’t be entering you.

A list will also be pinned up on the club notice board on Nov 28th – but note that there is a risk that this information may get lost as in a public place, so best to reply via email

NOTE: The Midland Counties entries must be completed by January 15th. I’ll send a separate note out early in Jan 2012, but if you want to respond to that now please feel free to do so. More information here (PDF)
