Lesley Pymm takes this 15+ miler
My excuse for not being there at the Nationals is that I was doing the Belvoir Challenge again as final preparation prior to the Grizzly next week.
I only did the short run (about 15.25m) and I really enjoyed it. It was very muddy, but great fun. I saw a couple of hares on route, bounding over the path and field in front of me. The wind had dropped from Friday night and the rain mainly held off, just a bit of drizzle which kept the temparature cool – pretty good conditions really.
Lots of cake at the checkpoints and soup and bread and butter pudding at the finish. A great day out!
