Timberhonger 10k – Saturday 18th June

Matt Slater reports: 2011 was the 9th running of the Timberhonger 10k, so called as most of the route is on Timberhonger Lane.

It has traditionally been part of Bromsgrove Carnival weekend with all profits donated to charity.
Stuart Pearson, Daniel Wilson and myself completed this challenging and undulating 10K run along with my niece Macy (age 6) who took part in the Children’s one mile challenge.

Results:
20th Stuart Pearson 39.48
23rd Daniel Wilson 40.05
31st Matt Slater 40.43

Thankyou Matt for your succinct Report on the Timberhonger 10k.Congratulations to your Niece Macy on winning her Medal, and to the BvH Trio who completed the `challenging and undulating` Course in respectable/competitive times.There was a large field participating,including many Club runners, and to have three BvHers so well placed has to be another good news story.
