Kingsbury Classic – 8 May 2012

Lesley Pymm reports: It was a lovely evening for running, although the midges were enjoying it as well so we all got a bit bitten! This is a two lap course in Kingsbury Water Park, pretty flat but just enough inclines to make it interesting.

There were four members of BvH there, although I didn’t see very much of the other three until the end as they were so fast. Sam Chatwin was second in 37.12 and Bradlee Tod third in 37.37 in this slightly long 10k course (about 6.3 miles). The fourth BvH runner was Mark Cooper (47.53) and between them they made up the 3rd men’s team. I was the only female representative from the club and completed it in 56.06.

It was a bit muddy in places compared to recent years, although I have seen it much worse. A good run in pleasant surroundings.
