Are your details up to date on your England Athletics profile?
The club are taking advantage of a new online payment facility that allows members to renew their registration directly with England Athletics. This means that your registration is updated from the moment you pay, without any delays for administrative processes by the membership secretary and treasurer.
You will receive an email inviting you to renew your membership, but this will only happen if your email address is up to date on your EA profile. To check that your email address is up to date, log in at: www.englandathletics.org/my profile
When you receive your email invitation to renew, please check that you are being asked to pay the correct amount, e.g. standard rate or concession (which you can check HERE). If you are being charged the incorrect amount, please email. Once your membership type has been set, it will remain the same until you tell us to change it.
RENEWING COUPLES
At this stage we have not registered anyone with couples rates, however if you would like to take advantage of the co-habiting joint members discount, please email with the name of the second member of the couple. We will then amend the fee for this second member to take account of the discount and send a new invoice. As with concession rates, once your membership type has been set, it will remain the same until you tell us to change it.
IMPORTANCE OF RENEWING IF YOU WANT TO RACE FOR BvH
Membership renewal becomes due on 1st April. Renewing your membership is even more important this year as stricter implementation of EA rules mean that you cannot compete as a Bournville Harrier unless your EA registration fee has been paid. This is in fact not a new rule, but from this year EA say there will be more checks and they will disqualify anyone breaking this rule and delete any Power of 10 marks.
