2. A splendid `turnout` from BvHers. And some encouraging performances all round. A great `shop window` for Bournville Harriers.
   CONGRATULATIONS to all concerned,whether running or supporting.
   `We`(Katie and I) missed the GBR this year as we were at the WMA T&F in Brazil. But,nevertheless,we were delighted that it was a `good day at the office` for the Club.

   PS.Help! Can anyone tell me where I can locate the Mens Teams for XC at Mansfield this coming Saturday? I will go and run at the Warwick University XC Relays if I can`t find out. I did make myself available a month or so ago!
   I can`t get into the BvH XC LINK!

4. You should keep your maiden name… Isla White-Ferry rolls on/off the tongue quite nicely… and should be impervious to any pun-ish mischief.

   Mark, I tend to agree with Isla… “Knocking one off in 15second” especially when in such close proximity the word “frustrated”… record or no record

5. Mark, your contrition and discipline is admirable, though I must apologize for my rather brusque previous response. As when I got back from my usual sunday afternoon leafleting of illegally parked cars, I found couldn’t have a nice cup of tea, as I’d ran out, so I had to make do with a very old free sample of Blend37. This has made me rather jittery in both body and in mind, I hope I can sleep tonight.

7. Well done Mark, I”m no expert, but apparently 15 seconds is quite a lot, world records are broken in less, so you should be proud.

   Though I can’t say I’m impressed with your crude barrack room puns, these might be acceptable in a best mans speech, when everyone’s a bit merry. But on a website like this, which probably has more than it”s fair share of decent sunday folk, Its very likely to be not acceptable, hopefully no harm done.

8. Hi Isla, I do understand how hurtful those playground taunts can be….in fact I was chatting about this very subject recently with my good friends Al Coholic, Mike Rotch and Anita Goforadump.

   Anyway, back to the subject of the thread……I thought last weeks race was TOUGH……and I never really felt comfortable all the way round…..very frustrated that I only managed to knock 15 seconds off last years time. :-(…………..oh well there is always next year!

9. Thank you for your compliments Mark, though I have slight reservations on your “(ahem)” comment, I suppose you’re referring to the common pronunciation of my surname, I was taunted by this so much at school, I reverted to pronouncing my name phonetically (Isla rhymes with rizla).

   Happily all this trauma, will soon be forgotten, when I marry my childhood sweetheart, Ken Ferry.

   And well done to all the supporters, It must be hard to stand there for five hours, when all you want is a nice cup of tea, and perhaps a piece of cake.

11. Well done to all those BVH members who completed the run, and commiserations to those who didn’t. It must hard with all those people shouting at you, when all you probably want to do is have nice cup of tea.

18. I’ve updated 140 photo’s so far from 1500 that I took. Tries to get all BV runners. Will take a few days to complete
