Half Marathon Preparation for Beginners/Improvers

John Barry, BvH Coaching Coordinator and UKA Level 3 Coach, will be giving a talk on the evening of Monday, 6 August on training and preparation for the half marathon distance. He will be aiming this primarily at recent beginners or other runners who are considering taking on the distance for the first time. The talk will take place after normal training, around 9pm.

    The talk is being put on by our coaching coordinator and is intended for members of the club. That said, if you’re genuinely thinking about joining and just haven’t made up your mind yet, by all means come along. I came to a number of club nights before I actually joined and everybody’s usually pretty chilled out about it. 🙂
