Congratulations to Barrie Roberts and Martin Foster who competed in the Annual Festival of Running – `Runfest Wales` which took place over the weekend at Rhyl, N Wales.
Martin Foster ran in the 10k and was 66th out of 220 in a chip time of 50.49 whilst Barrie was 33rd out of 99 in a chip time of 25.04 over the 5k distance.
Barrie reports that it was particularly good to hear the club mentioned very loudly on the Tannoy System when bth runners finished along Llandudno`s Promenade!

Suffering from jet lag! Martin and I both finished along Rhyl`s Promenade and not Llandudno`s Promenade. The weather was reasonable,but the latter part of our races were into a freshening breeze,which probably slowed us down.
