Double European Champion, Rob Andrew retains his National titles and Dean Parker collects a bronze medal in the 5000m
Despite a serious achillies injury Rob Andrew managed to win both the M45 800m and 1500m titles at the BMAF Track & Field Championships held at Perry Barr in Birmingham. Subject to fitness, we wish Rob well as he now moves on to the World Masters Chanpionships to be held in the USA in July.
Dean Parker ran well to pick up a National bronze in the M35 5000m in a time of 16:51.40
Barrie Roberts also ran a new BvH Club age best to finish 4th in the M65 800m and also ran a season’s best to finish 5th in the M65 1500m
Sean Rose ran in the M40 5000m but did not finish.
