Fladbury Pie Run – 14 July 2019

Lesley Pymm reports:  Many from BvH will have run the Fladbury Festive 5.  This was a very similar event in better weather.  The course again went around fields near Fladbury in Worcestershire.  It was a very warm evening and it was pretty hard going.

There is a long stretch by the river and this was very difficult as the grass was so long.  The atmosphere was very good as usual.

Once agian there were beautiful tomatoes at the finish, pies for those who eat meat – there was a veggie alternative that we enjoyed for tea the following day.  There was also a choice of drinks – I had some Old Speckled Hen, but there was cider and soft drinks too.  Runners all got something to eat from the BBQ – again veggies were catered for.

Lovely, low key summer evening event.
