A third of the field was made up of Bournville Harriers, and `they did us all proud!.` Excellent runs from Sean,Dean and Gareth and Ed Hartley ran well to win his AC. Caroline Harlan-Marks was the first BvH lady home in a very respectable time of 19:15 with her husband Chris in `hot pursuit.` The next Race in the Series incorporates the Warwickshire County AA 5k Championships and the Warwickshire Road Race League (July Race). Hopefully, there will be another `Sea of Teal` meeting the challenge on that evening.
(Congratulations to Andy Halliday on coming in 3rd in the Aldridge 10k).

This race should be renamed the “Battle of Bournville”.
Looks like a fabulous race between three gladiators – Sean, Dean and Gareth. Massive well done to Sean … what we do in life, echoes in eternity.
Was hoping to see a few faces at Aldridge 10k but looks like you all needed a well earned rest after Thursday … either that or you couldn’t face the monsoon conditions on Sunday!
