  1. Great atmosphere and great to have wonderful support from BVH on the way. Really enjoyed running with the bucket. Managed to raise £220 on route, thanks to Sue and Rachel for your help in Bournville.
With work matching and some other donations from family pleased to say over £600 for Cure Leukaemia. Good news.

  2. I was in the orange wave, but on the left hand side also. It think there was a problem with some of the chip times for people starting on the left hand side. I had a look on runners world and it looks like a problem that affected a number of people, all about 2 minutes out. Ah well, a pb next time perhaps!

  3. Enjoyed the run – happy with the effort I put in, but too warm for me so found it tough after 9 miles. My chip time was 2.05.03, which was wrong by 2 minutes – my stopwatch recorded 2.07.00 which I ought to claim. David, I started on white left hand lane – I am assuming it was not reset properly after white right hand wave! Anybody else had wrong chip time? Still aiming for that elusive 1.59.59.9!

  4. My chip time was 4 s faster than my watch, so can’t complain about that.

  5. Did anyone else notice a discrepancy between the chip time and their stop watch? According to my watch I ran 1:25:27, according to my chip it was 1:23:28!! I would like to take the chip time, but I think that would be cheating!!

  6. A fantastic weekend of running with BvH Club Members running on both Saturday and Sunday.I enjoyed watching and running in the Saturday Midland XC Relays in Walsall, and on Sunday watching much of the Great Birmingham Run,having first run up and down Broad Street with my grandchildren! What a pleasure and a privilege to be a member of BvH and be a part of such a great running fraternity. And,not only that,I was able to watch some of the weekend`s running endeavours on the TV when I got home.
