Barrie Roberts report: Six members of Bournville Harriers journeyed down to Swansea, South Wales, for the Annual Admiral 10K Road Race which was held on Sunday 23rd September 2012.
The weather was wet and windy throughout and participants, officials and spectators got soaked.
Suz West, Barrie Roberts, Martin Foster and Karen Collins (from this year’s Beginners Group) successfully completed the Race.
Special thanks are due to Marie Foster and Katie Roberts for their support and encouragement.
There were 3001 finishers.The first four to cross the finishing line, all under 30 mins, were Kenyans.

If Suz had been wearing teal,I might have noticed her `sneaking past` me! Congratulations Suz on running a pb;even more commendable when one considers the weather on the day of the Race.

Great race in horrible weather,i got a pb happy with that but also I agree special thanks to marie and katie who I heard cheering me on at the end and giving me that extra push to the fininsh.Also nice to hear bournville beieng mentioned when Martin crossed the line.Well done everyone I enjoyed that 🙂
