A total of 170 runners completed the course today, so well done to you all!

It was a fantastic event, with a great atmosphere and lots of support, so thank you to everyone that came along. A special thanks goes out to everyone that made the event happen. Without all the volunteers, the race would not be possible.

  1. Hi Keith,
I spoke to him myself and he was at home feeling better on Sunday afternoon.

  2. Great race as always, great weather too. Was the guy who collapsed OK?

  3. Did anyone else use a Garman/Runkeeper type device? My phone logged it as 10.5K!

  4. That’s correct Lesley, the online entries are up and running!

  5. Looks like it is working now, guys. Get those entries in!!!!!

  6. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it still doesn’t work Ed. Now, where has that weasel gone…

  7. OK, OK, OK, I was wrong The ENTER ONLINE doesn’t work*… Yet some might say I should be commended for underlining the fault in the first place… But NO… keep your accolades, I’m merely doing what any good member would do… albeit seflessly and beyond the barricades.

Re, fixing the problem… perhaps we should try half a pound of tuppenny rice… though I would stop at putting a weasel in a microwave.

*Though It might work now… give it a try.

  8. John has contacted Runner’s World and they have assured him that they will fix this soon. Paul

  9. I have emailed John to see if he can contact Runner’s World to tell them about the issue, as he arranged the advert for us. Hopefully, they will know what the issue is and fix it quickly. Many thanks, Paul

  10. Hi Charlotte – I had the same problem. I assumed it was because it was newly on there, and thought I would wait a couple of days. No, Ed – this is nothing to do with Charlotte and me and jars of treacle – there is something wrong with the system. I have checked again today, and still cannot enter. Maybe someone ought to let RW know? I can’t see a useful link on the website, or I would do it myself.

  11. Charlotte, just click on the ENTER ONLINE (above) and it will take you there… sorry if Im telling your granny how to chew a wasp… or open a Jar of treacle… etc etc etc.

  12. Hi – I was trying to enter the leafy 10k but I can’t seem to do it through the Runners World website. I can’t see any categories to pick!
