Bournville Harriers Leafy 10k

Many thanks to all who took part, marshalled or assisted with this year’s Leafy 10k. A date for the 2018 event will be announced in due course.

Our annual multi-terrain race is a two lap, multi terrain race around the streets and parks of Bournville in Birmingham, an ideal race as part of your Birmingham Half Marathon preparation (read a review of the race).

Venue: Rowheath Pavilion Heath Road Bournville Birmingham B30 1HH (map).

  • Toilets, showers, changing rooms.
  • 250 runners limit.
  • Prizes in all age categories.
  • Plentiful supplies of cakes!

  1. From all members of Cherwell Runners to BVH thank you for a brilliant 2017 Leafy 10K. It was certainly worth travelling from Banbury to compete in what is a really well organised race and challenging course.

  5. Hi Sue, I cannot give you an “official” answer (but I do help out a little when the course is run and I didn’t want you to think that noone was listening!) The course has historically been run on an annual basis in May/June, so sadly you’ve just missed one. (Having said that, the club caters for runners of all abilities, so if you are an ex-runner you should find someone who will take you under their wing. Come along on a monday club night and talk to Steve Atkins who I am sure would advise)

  6. hi so is there a beg course starting again soon. i did explain in a previous e-mail that i used to be a member but Haven’t run for some time and my fitness is non existent….. please help…..
