Recently, the club had a visit from Abbie Carrington, a Broadcast Journalism student at the University of Salford. She contacted the club to interview a few of our members about the upcoming Commonwealth Games and the importance of sport for younger children.
The interviews made up a short television piece for her final project at University.
Abbie has contacted us to thank the club for our help and let us know she has completed the videos, which helped her gain first-class honours in this project overall! Well done, Abbie! Thanks especially go to Dave Powner for organising her visit.
