Notice regarding Club Membership

Have you been running regularly with Bournville Harriers but have not yet joined? There are many benefits of joining, including reduced race entry fees, entry to club events, subsidised social events and access to quality coaching. We welcome new members all year round and invite you to run with us a few times before committing to joining the club, however, it is important to become a fully paid-up member if you are running with us regularly not least for insurance purposes.

As of 1st October the reduced rate for new members is available; the full England Athletics fee is still payable and the cost of a club vest is included so, for example, a single member would pay £55 to join from this point instead of £75. BvH membership is excellent value for money, costing less than the price of a weekly cup of good coffee, however, if you do have concerns about the affordability please speak to the Membership Secretary, John Cheel or another member of the committee.

It is only fair that everyone who enjoys the benefits of running as part of Bournville Harriers contributes to the financial costs the club incurs (which cover our facilities, coaching qualifications etc.) so we will begin to approach those who have been running with the club regularly who have not yet paid for membership over the coming weeks (yes, we know who you are!)

Thank you to everyone who has joined this year or renewed membership promptly.
