There are also track sessions on Mondays and Thursdays during the summer, which are held at the University of Birmingham. The sessions start promptly at 7pm. However, if you’re unable to make 7pm, you are still very welcome to come along at 7.30pm to do a session.
The track fee is £2 per person.

NO,THANK YOU, Paul and Chris for sorting out this whole sordid business for once and for all.
But on serious note, I would just like to say, whilst I applaud the efforts people have gone to growing complete bicycles on their top lip, and with some success, I might add. ( the pre roll call clanking on a monday night, bears witness to this) I would urge caution if you insist in running in a tight group, at least try to run sideway… and remember, it”s still getting dark, so make sure you have a full set of lights fitted.
Thanks for updating this, Paul. Dean says he will be leading grass sessions on the field opposite the Pavilion on 22/4, 29/4, and then alternate Mondays thereafter through the summer. Also, info about sessions at the University Track is here: http://bournvilleharriers.org.uk/announcements/track-training/
While we’re on the subject of monday runs, many of you probably noticed I have been without my impressive handlebar moustache, complete with basket and Hello Kitty bell, this is to participate in an event, I believe is called Nomovember.
But don’t worry, next month( Recember) things will be back to better than normal, when I plan to grow a whole bike… or perhaps even a tandem.
Please continue to check the routes prior to Monday night every week and familiarise yourselves with these maps!! Thanks
Hi Ed, Rob is at the track every Monday from 7:15 and has said that he’s happy to set sessions for anyone who turns up on the night. I think he’s got a smallish group coming regularly, focussing on training for short events. There will be grass sessions tonight and next Monday before we take a break over the summer.
Is there any track training tonight?
