All runners who were members in 2019 should now have received an email enabling them to renew club membership online. The email has been sent from the England Athletics system, so please check your inbox and junk mail/spam folder first and if you haven’t received an email please let me John Cheel know.
The membership have voted overwhelmingly in favour of reducing the rates this year which you will see when you come to pay. As mentioned before, you do not need to renew immediately. England Athletics have extended the grace period until 31st August so you have until then to renew your membership and your affiliation will remain in place. If you are able to afford to renew your membership sooner it will help Engand Athletics to continue funding their work but there is no pressure to do so.
As communicated by email, we know that some club members may find that their own financial situation has changed or will change in the coming months as a result of the pandemic; please do contact a committee member if you find yourself in financial hardship, there are some options available.
