Congratulations to Martin Foster, who has been recognised for his volunteering work for the NICE Centre for Movement Disorders, organising the annual ‘Let’s Move It!’ 10k race at Cannon Hill Park. As those who have run the race over the years will know, Martin does a fantastic job in organising all of the race logistics, promoting the event, securing prizes and directing the event on the day. Martin received the NICE Volunteer of the Year Award in recognition of the time, dedication and passion he has devoted to the event over the years. The charity also acknowledged the community atmosphere Martin has encouraged and the awareness of the charity that the race has generated. We’re very proud of Martin’s volunteering efforts and hope that fellow club members will continue to support and enjoy the event for many years to come.
