Four down, one to go! Tonight the warm weather returned for a 5 mile canal run from Kings Norton Playing Fields, to the legend that is Scott Partridge and back, via a couple of bridges and some superb high-vis heroes. Whilst some have an unassailable lead, there’s still all to play for in other categories and the final day of racing should be exciting. The Tour has had something for everyone and it’s exciting to see how fatigue, the different distances and the terrain have impacted the overall standings through the week. Dave has done a great job in getting the results posted to Facebook quickly so everyone can check out their nearest rivals and how the latest race has affected the results.
Tomorrow’s race, the decider, is a 5km race from Rowheath Pavilion. We have an earlier start time so we can all enjoy the after-party; a 6:45pm group have been contacted (registration 6:30pm) and a 7pm start (registration at 6:40pm) for everyone else. Afterwards there will be presentations and supper for those runners and supporters who have pre-ordered. Don’t forget to sign in and collect your food voucher afterwards from Sue.
